MA 242 is the third of three semesters in a calculus sequence for science and engineering majors at NCSU. The course begins with vectors, vector algebra, and vector functions. We then study functions of several variables, partial derivatives, gradients, directional derivatives, maxima and mimima. We then learn techniques for multiple integration.  We conclude with line and surface integrals, Green's Theorem, Divergence Theorems, Stokes' Theorem, and applications.
